I went on a land bound journey this past August. I traveled from Sausalito to Sacramento, down to San Diego then back to Sausalito. I was gone for 21 days and during my absence I had so many people watching my boat that many questions were raised when one of my friends boarded my boat and brought my kayak to the shore the night I returned.

I love the community I feel out on the water. For me it definately is different from living on the land. So many times I have come to the aide or gotten assistance from a fellow boater. Daily some thing happens and everyone needs maintenance and upkeep of their boat, so there is always something to do.
